Lahore: LDA demolishes six illegal buildings in Faisal Town and Township

THE Lahore Development Authority’s Town Planning Wing demolished six buildings, constructed in violation of the buildings’ bylaws and sealed another one in the areas of Faisal Town and Township on Friday. An LDA’s spokesman said the authority sealed a residential building constructed on plot No 11-C in Faisal Town, which was being used for commercial activities while a double storey commercial building, constructed on plot No D-875 in violation of buildings’ bylaws, was demolished by the Town Planning Wing’s staff. Similarly, five commercial buildings constructed on plots Nos C-I/1-266, 355, D/V-356, C-I/III-212 and C-I/V-23 in Township area in violations of buildings’ bylaws, had also been demolished, he added.
