Nine properties auctioned by LDA
A total of nine properties, including two school sites, two commercial plots, two tuck shops and three residential plots, situated in various housing schemes were auctioned against a sum of Rs 86.6 million by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Wednesday. Open auction of public utility sites, residential and commercial plots of different housing schemes was held in LDA Community Centre. LDA Vice-Chairman Aamir Asghar Dar supervised the auction, which was conducted by the Auction Committee of LDA comprising of Director Finance, Director Estate Management and Director Land Development LDA. Per marla base price of these plots had been estimated by the approved Evaluators of the State Bank of Pakistan. Maximum bid was offered for a tuck shop, measuring 80 square feet, situated in Fruit Market Ravi Road, which was auctioned in a sum of Rs 5.42 million whereas its base price had been fixed as Rs 1.7 million. Another tuck shop, with the same reserve price, was also auctioned in a handsome amount of Rs 4.81 million. School site of Abdalian Housign Society, measuring 3 kanals, 18 marlas and 100 square feet, was auctioned in Rs 300,000 per marla whereas its base price was fixed as Rs 180,000 per marla. Another school site, situated in Engineering University Society and measuring 4 kanals, 4 marlas and 180 square feet, was auctioned at the rate of Rs 175,000 per marla as against the base price of Rs 100,000 per marla. Two Commercial plots, each measuring 324 square meters, situated in block D/II of Johar Town, were auctioned at the rate of Rs 810,000 and Rs 1,130,000 per marla, respectively. The base price of these plots was Rs 800,000 and Rs 1 million. Three residential plots of Sabazar Housing Scheme were also sold through open auction. |
