Islamabad: Film complex to be constructed in city
Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC) will set up a film complex in the capital carrying all necessary information about Pakistani film industry. This was stated by Barrister Malik Shahnawaz Noon, newly appointed chairman CBFC in an exclusive interview with APP here Tuesday.
Within the complex, a consultation department would be established to provide necessary guidelines to new filmmakers, he informed. Besides maintaining record of old movies, the information about various artists would be stored. To make the industry more effective, he said a website containing detailed information about film industry would be launched soon ensuring general public access to the information about films and celebrities.
