CM Punjab Inaugurates Khadim e Punjab Daihi Roads Programme

Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif has recently inaugurated “Khadim e Punjab Daihi Roads Programme” on official basis.

This is the biggest project of repair and construction of rural roads so far in the history of Pakistan. Under this project, all rural roads of the province will be repaired and reconstructed in phases during the next three years at the cost of Rs150 billion. In the first go, CM has inaugurated repair and construction work of 8 kilometre long Ladheke Bhullar to Pando Road in Suey Aasal area of district Kasur under this programme and also prayed for the success of this project.

The Chief Minister stated that the historic project of repair and reconstruction of rural roads has been initiated, which will cost billions of rupees. Rs15 billion has been allocated in the current year for the repair and construction of 2000 kilometres long roads of the rural areas
