UN team probing Benazir's assassination to record statement of Raja Pervez Ashraf

ISLAMABAD: The UN commission probing Benazir Bhutto’s assassination is likely to record the statement of Water and Power Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Monday. “Ashraf has agreed to record his statement on Monday,” a source privy to the development said. On December 27, 2007 Ashraf accompanied Benazir at a public meeting in Liaqat Bagh where she was slain in a gun-and-suicide bomb attack.
