Lahore Orange Line Metro train project signed with Chinese company
SHANGHAI: Chief Minister Punjab Mia Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday have signed Lahore Metro train project with Chinese company. Shahbaz Sharif signed the contract with the Chairman of the Chinese National Development Reforms Commission in Shanghai. According to local Media reports President Mamnoon Hussain who already on a visit in China and his Chinese counterpart witnessed the signing ceremony. According to reports the service will be called Lahore Orange Line Metro Train, while the project will cost 1.6 billion dollars. The rain route will be 27.1 kilometer long. Shahbaz Sharif while taking to media said the project once complete will benefit millions of people. The train’s route will cover Thokar Niaz Beg, Multan Road, Chauburji, The Mall, Lakshmi Chowk, Railway Station, Garhi Shahu, GT Road, Pakistan Mint and Dera Gujjaran |
