NA body on H&W apprised about allotments in Sectors F-14/15

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Standing Committee on Housing and Works (H&W) was apprised about status/progress of allotment of Sectors F-14/15, Islamabad, that a summary was moved on January 06, 2015 to the prime minister for allocation of these Sectors and allotment of plots to federal government employees.

The meeting of NA body on H&W was held here at the Parliament House on Thursday with Chairman, Muhammad Akram Ansari in chair. H&W Federal Minister, Muhammad Akram Durrani was also present on the occasion. Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation (PHAF) managing director (MD) said that the Cabinet Division/CDA has agreed with the proposal of Housing Foundation on division of commercial plots on parity basis. The approval of PM Office is still awaited. The criteria for allotment of plots in the said scheme is expected to be on basis of age seniority. About Bhara-Kahu Scheme, it was told that the scheme would be re-launched after the decision of the case, presently pended in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for final decision.
He said that on the direction of NA Standing Committee on H&W, the authority has extended the date for the renewal of member for federal government employees till March 16, 2015.
Describing the salient features of membership driver, MD PHAF told that only those federal government employees, who area already registered with PHAF, are eligible to apply for renewal. Those employees who have already been allotted apartment, unit/house from PHAF, will not be eligible for renewal of membership. He assured the committee that PHAF is in the process of providing all the best facilities, which will be available to the allottees in head office & regional offices as well. Those facilities are only one window transactions, Verisys system, for transparent transaction of property, directly linked with NADRA, SMS for an information to the allottees regarding his property/transaction, an integrated information system, an upgrading and updating of website, issuance of lifetime computerized allotment/membership card.
