ITP personnel asked to be polite with road-users

Our crime correspondent Islamabad: Officials of the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) have been asked to adopt polite attitude towards road-users and create awareness among the masses about traffic discipline. SSP (Traffic) Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri gave these directions to ITP officials while addressing a function at the National Library of Pakistan here on Sunday. SP (Traffic) Ashfaq Ahmed Khan, Hunerkada's Jamal Shah, a representative of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and special children of Al-Farabi School attended the function. Later, the SSP (Traffic) presented shields to Jamal Shah, representatives of ITP Citizens Committee and other participants in recognition of their services for improving traffic system in the capital. Temuri presented a shield and Rs3,000 to Head Constable Abid Hussain for recovering an abducted boy, Zeeshan, while ITP Citizens Committee announced Rs5,000 for him.
