Islamabad: 16 housing schemes operating without NOCs

ISLAMABAD: Out of 28 housing schemes registered with Capital Development Authority (CDA) in two zones of the city, only 12 of them are operating with valid no-objection certificates (NOCs), sources said. They said 28 housing schemes approached the CDA to seek NOC, but 16 of them had not fulfilled legal formalities before applying for the certificates. The housing schemes, which obtained the NOCs are Margalla View, Cabinet Division Employees Cooperative Housing Society, Al-Hamra Avenue, Anchorage Housing Scheme, Khayaban-e-Kashmir, Multi Gardens, Tele Gardens, Soan Garden Housing Scheme, Islamabad Highway, Zaraj Housing Scehem and Bahria Town Phase-II, III and IV. A CDA Land Directorate official advised people not to invest in the housing societies having no NOC. online
