LDA seals 26 commercial properties

LAHORE, Oct 22: The Lahore Development Authority’s commercialisation wing on Monday sealed 26 commercial properties, situated along Main Boulevard of the PIA Society after their owners failed to pay the requisite fee.

The properties that were sealed by various LDA field teams included bearing numbers 1, 2, 5, 9 and 302 of Block A-I, 11, 51and 52 of block B-I, 201, 243, 270, 282 and 283 of Block-C, 20, 27, 29, 31 and 45 of Block-D, 22, 408, 409, 418 and 424 of Block-E and 2, 3 and 6 of Block-F.

SUSPENSION: The LDA administration on Monday suspended Muhammad Zubair Khan, assistant director (General Cadre), from service on account of willful absence and disobeying orders.

He has further been directed to report to the Administration Directorate.

Meanwhile, the additional charge of the post of Land Development-III director has also been entrusted to Liaqat Ali Randhawa, Land Development-II director, during the leave period of Moazzam Rasheed.
