ISLAMABAD: PHA to launch three housing schemes soon
Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) will launch three joint venture housing schemes simultaneously at Islamabad, Karachi and Quetta at affordable costs, said Federal Minister for Housing and Works Rahmatullah Kakar.
The Minister was chairing a meeting of Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) here on Tuesday to review the ongoing projects being undertaken by the organisation in various cities. He said that launching of these housing projects would bring further impetus in the ongoing construction activities under “Prime Minister’s housing for all programme”. He said, expatriate Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia have shown their keen interest in the 1-16 housing scheme. He said that Pakistani community would take full advantage of the housing scheme and remit foreign exchange for acquiring housing units in 1-16 sector under their allocated quota. PHA Managing Director Mohammad Ali Afridi informed the minister during presentation that construction work of flats in sectors G-10 and G-l 1 was in final stage and PHA had been making endeavors to launch Kurd Road Housing Scheme as soon as possible. |
