Rawalpindi—Pakistan Railway Rawalpindi division has launched operation against its encroachers who have occupied railway land.

The operation was launched from Mareer Bridge to Gawal Mandi and all the area was cleared from the encroachers. The administration also demolished the illegal construction on the Railway land and took the area back into their control.

The Railway department said that the encroachers occupied the land for long time and it was inevitable for the department to take strong operation against them as they were also doing illegal construction on the government land.
