ISLAMABAD - Inspector General Police Syed Kaleem Imam has divided the Federal Capital into four zones, each headed by a Superintendent Police, to immediately address the complaints of citizens. SP Nasir Aftab is deputed at Saddar Circle, SP Sajid Kyani at City Circle, SP Abdul Ghaffar Qaisarani at Industrial area, SP Malik Mumtaz at Rural Circle while SP Saqib Sultan would take the charge as SP Investigation Wing. Meanwhile, Criminal Investigation Agency police have arrested a foreign lady smuggler and recovered 1700gram heroin from her custody. Accordingly to detail, Bashir Ahmad Noon, DSP/CIA received information through informer that a foreign lady smuggler namely Sanmia Tamangani of Nepalese National presently residing in House No.228, Street No.63, Sector I-10/1, Islamabad is smuggling heroin to some foreign country. On tip off, DSP/CIA trapped here and recovered 1700gm heroin. Case has been registered her and investigation is under way in this respect. SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated the performance of CIA police and directed all SDPOs/SHOs, including Rescue 15 to continue their efforts and booked the outlaws involved in the crimes and anti-social activities. He further directed to intensify the patrolling to curb crimes. Elections campaign in CDA kicks off The campaign to hold referendum in Capital Development Authority has been started while election office of Labour Union CBA would be started on June 4. The opponent Amanullah Group has also constituted its office in Sitara Market, however, date of referendum could not be announced so far.
