Islamabad: Nawaz chairs meeting to review Murree uplift projects

LAHORE: PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat Saturday to review development projects in Murree. The Planning and Development chairman, the Health secretary, the housing secretary, the forest secretary, the Communication and Works secretary, the managing director of the Tourism Development Corporation of Pakistan and Rawalpindi division commissioner attended the meeting. Nawaz was assisted by PML-N Punjab Secretary General Raja Ashfaq Sarwar and MNA Shahid Khakan Abbasi. Nawaz was briefed on various projects from bureaucrats. He gave approval for the construction of 150-bed hospital at City Bank, Jheeka Gali Road which would be completed within two years. Health Secretary Anwar Ahmed Khan briefed Nawaz on a hospital project. He also approved a project to construct a state of the art parking stand at Jheeka Gali, having a parking capacity of 1,200 vehicles. This parking stand is estimated to be completed within eight months.
